Calendula flowers have many great properties, which is why we often find them in natural healing skin salves.

It's anti-fungal, anti-microbial, anti-inflammatory and also antiviral.

When combined with plantain, comfrey, and beeswax, it makes a powerful natural healing salve for minor scrapes, burns, bruises, rashes, sores, blisters, dry skin, and even bug bites.

I'll share with you this quick DIY calendula salve recipe so you can make your own and heal all those little skin issues you might have.


To make this calendula salve recipe you'll need:

- 1.3 oz calendula infused oil
- 1.3 oz comfrey infused oil
- 1.3 oz plantain infused oil
- 1 oz beeswax pastilles
- 1/4 teaspoon vitamin e oil (optional)
- salve jars or tins

Preparation:

- Pour in the oils and the beeswax in a heat resistant container
- Put that container in a bigger pan containing a couple inches of water
- Slowly heat the water (medium-low heat) until everything in the container is fully melted 
- Stir occasionally during the process
- Add vitamin e oil and stir again to mix well with the rest of the ingredients
- Pour the hot mix in the salve jars or tins 
- Let it rest until it is completely cooled off and then add the lids on
- Enjoy the benefits of your fresh batch of calendula salve
